Is blurring safe enough to hide text?

A heavy mosaic or a strong blur destroys the pixels rather than covering them, so the text cannot be recovered from the exported image. If in doubt, use a solid rectangle: it removes the information entirely.

Can the blur be undone after export?

Not from the exported file — the export flattens everything into one image. Inside the editor you can undo while you are still working, which is exactly when you want to.

What is usually forgotten in a screenshot?

Tab titles, the URL in the address bar, autofill suggestions, an open notification, and names in a sidebar. Capturing the page rather than the whole screen removes most of these before you start.

How to blur sensitive information in a screenshot
